Indian Overseas Bank Bharti 2025 Selection Process
The selection process will involve an in-person interview, an online test, and the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The Language Proficiency Test (LPT) will be offered to candidates who pass the online exam, and those who pass both the LPT and the online exam will be invited to an in-person interview.
Just because a candidate satisfies the eligibility standards does not provide them the right to be invited for an in-person interview, language proficiency test (LPT), or online exam.
Test of Language Proficiency:
The candidate must be fluent in all three areas of the state’s local language (speaking, writing, and reading). A applicant must pass the Language Proficiency test in order to be eligible for further selection after being shortlisted for the Personal Interview. They would be denied the opportunity to attend the Personal Interview if they fail to do so.
Individual Interview:
Candidates must have met the requirements for the LPT, and each category will have a merit list compiled in descending order by the candidates’ online exam results. If candidates achieve the minimum qualifying scores in the online exam and, if applicable, the LPT, they will be asked for a face-to-face interview. The minimum qualifying scores will be decided by the Bank.
Last choice:
The weighting ratio for in-person interviews and online tests will be 80:20, respectively. The sum of the candidates’ online exam and in-person interview scores will be used to calculate their final score. The top candidates will be selected from the merit list, which is arranged by state and category.
