DRDO Scientist B Vacancy 2025 Qualification

1. General Requirement: First-class bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology in the relevant field, or first-class master’s degree in science in the same field from an accredited university or its equivalent, is required.
2. GATE Qualification: All disciplines must have a valid GATE score in the relevant GATE exam code, as listed in Table 1 of the announcement.
3. Final Year Students: Students who have taken or are taking their final semester exams and hope to get a first-class degree are also eligible to apply. By July 31, 2025, they must turn in their degree or provisional degree certificate.
4. Degrees from overseas Universities: By July 31, 2025, candidates who hold degrees from overseas universities must receive an equivalency certificate from the “Association of Indian Universities, Delhi.”
5. First Class Criteria: 60% of the possible points shall be deemed equal if the institution does not define the requirements for First Class. If there is no conversion method for CGPA/CPI, 6.75 (on a 10-point scale) will be interpreted as 60%.

Crucial for Government/PSU Candidates:

1. Temporary workers who are unable to get a NOC should notify their employer and, if chosen, provide an undertaking to resign. This Intimation-cum-Undertaking letter can be found on the RAC website, and within 30 days of the application deadline, proof of submission must be filed.
2. In order to obtain a NOC, candidates working for government or government-owned enterprises must apply online directly to RAC and notify their Cadre Controlling Authority (CCA).
3. Within 15 days of the closing date, the RAC website must have proof of submission of this notification letter uploaded. The NOC must be presented either prior to the interview or during document verification.
