Selection Process
For positions as Deputy General Managers (DGMs):
For seasoned workers, the selection process for DGM roles is straightforward.
- Document Scrutiny: To confirm eligibility, applications will be examined.
- Interview: Those who make the short list will be contacted for an in-person interview. Interview performance, which evaluates technical proficiency, personality, and communication abilities, will be the sole basis for the ultimate selection.
Regarding Assistant Manager Positions:
Assistant Manager positions are evaluated in two stages.
- Written Test: A 2.5-hour test consisting of 125 objective-style questions. No negative marking is present. The curriculum is broad and includes both general aptitude and technical topics relevant to the position.
- Interview: Those who successfully complete the written exam will be invited to an interview.
- Final Merit: A 60% weighting for the written exam and a 40% weighting for the interview will determine the final selection.
For the position of Site Assessor:
Performance on the written exam is the sole criterion for selection as a Site Assessor.
- Written Test: A 125-question test with an objective format. The written exam has a 100% weighting.
- Document Scrutiny: Those who pass the written exam will have their eligibility confirmed by their documentation.
