Qualification for Project Assistant Vacancy 2025
Qualifications for Education:
- A three-year bachelor’s degree in the arts (but not in the fine or performing arts), commerce, science, computer applications, or business administration with at least 60% of the possible points from an accredited university is required.
- Desired: Practical experience with SAP, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, etc.

- 45 is the maximum age.

Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2025 Salary
- Base Salary: ₹24,400/month
- Compensation for Extra Hours: Up to ₹6,100
- Candidates with greater experience in related fields may be eligible for higher compensation.
Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2025 Selection Method
A written test consisting of two sections—an objective type test and a descriptive type test—with a total score of 100 marks is required for the Cochin Shipyard Limited Recruitment 2025 selection process. The 90-minute Objective Test consists of 80 multiple-choice questions covering themes relating to discipline, general knowledge, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and general English. The 45-minute Descriptive Test evaluates your writing proficiency in English and is worth 20 points.
The Descriptive Test will only be assessed for individuals who pass the Objective Test; there is no negative grading. For candidates who are UR, OBC, or PwBD, the minimal passing score is 50%, 45%, and 40%, respectively. Passing both tests will result in a call for certificate verification, when original documentation is required. The ultimate choice will be determined by the sum of the scores. If two candidates receive identical scores, the discipline section marks will be used to determine priority, followed by age (older candidates would be chosen).

Duration of the Agreement
a) The aforementioned positions are temporary in nature, with a maximum tenure of five years, contingent upon individual performance and project requirements.
b) The position will be located in Sri Vijaya Puram, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, at the CSL AN Ship Repair Unit (CANSRU). However, the applicants may be moved amongst CSL units based on project requirements. Serving in any CSL department, aboard a ship, or in any of the units, work sites, or projects carried out in any region of India or overseas, as applicable, is a requirement of the position.
