ICG AC Notification 2025 Maximum Age (as of July 1, 2026)
- Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be between 21 and 25 years old.
- Birthdate: You must have been born on or before July 1, 2001, and June 30, 2005, inclusive.
- Relaxation with Age:
- SC/ST: relaxation for five years.
- Three years of relaxation for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer).
- Five years of relaxation for Coast Guard personnel or those in the Army, Navy, or Air Force.
Assistant Commandant Vacancy 2025 Educational Qualification
For the Branch of General Duty (GD):
- A graduate degree from an accredited university is required.
- It is essential that you have completed Intermediate or Class 12 (10+2+3 scheme) mathematics and physics coursework.
- Candidates who graduated with a diploma are likewise qualified, as long as physics and math were covered in their diploma program.
Regarding the Technical (Mechanical) Division:
- You must have an engineering degree in one of the following fields from an accredited university:
