IIESTS Vacancy 2025 Notification : Two excellent recruitment opportunities for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) posts under two sponsored research projects have been offered by the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur (IIESTS), Howrah. - Mechanical, energy, electrical, agricultural, or civil engineering B.E. or B.Tech.
- A master’s or master’s degree in chemistry, physics, or agriculture from an accredited university.

- A postgraduate engineering degree or diploma
- A legitimate GATE score
Pay:
Fellowship: Rs. 25,000 (consolidated) a month, with the possibility of upgrading to Rs. 30,000 (SRF) in the third year.
Maximum Age:
32 years old as of the interview date is the maximum age.
Relaxation: 3 years for OBC-NCL applicants, 5 years for SC/ST/Women/PwD candidates.
Additional Advantages:
If the chosen applicant satisfies the admission requirements, they might be able to enroll in IIEST’s Ph.D. program.

Fellowship: Rs. 30,000 per month in the third year, and Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated) in the first two.

- When is the deadline for IIESTS Recruitment 2025 applications?
The project will determine the application deadline. On April 30, 2025, candidates must show up for the walk-in interview for Project 1 (Mechanical Engineering). Candidates must submit their applications for Project 2 (Civil Engineering) within 15 days of the advertisement’s release. - If I don’t have a GATE qualification, can I still apply?
While not required, a GATE qualification is preferred. Although having a GATE score may give you an advantage, candidates without a GATE score can still apply. - For the IIESTS Recruitment 2025 roles, what is the maximum age?
