Instructor of Graphic Design

• The Visual Arts Department’s duties include

Responsibilities

1. Provide instruction in pre-production, LFX, editing, camera operation, video editing, sound, and graphic design.
2. Oversee academic staff in related disciplines

Qualifications:

1. At least 60% on the BFA and MFA (Applied Arts) exams
2. At least eight years of experience as a college instructor
3. Three years or more of experience instructing at a government college
4. Research articles that have been published
5. Excellent administrative abilities
6. Programming Proficiency: Adobe Word, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Filmora, and Adobe Audition
7. The ideal applicant would be a senior instructor with experience in post-production and multimedia.

Duties:

1. Provide instruction in digital animation, storyboarding, and character design.
2. Produce instructional resources and assist students in developing robust portfolios.

Qualifications:

1. 15 years of experience in the animation business
2. At least two years of animation teaching experience
3. A solid understanding of both digital and traditional animation
4. Proficiency with programs such as Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Toon Boom, and Animate
5. A thorough comprehension of narrative and character design

About Kalyani University

Our former Chief Minister Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy was the driving force behind the creation of Kalyani as a satellite township under the Calcutta Urban Agglomeration’s long-term perspective plan. Infrastructure for health and education was a key component of the master plan created for this township’s development. In order to address one part of this requirement, the University of Kalyani was founded in 1960. With the faculties of Arts, Science, Education, and Agriculture, it was first established as a unitary university. Today, it has 62 associated institutions spread over the districts of Nadia and Murshidabad.

As seen by its impressive alumni list, which includes notable scientists, academics, artists, athletes, and representatives of many people, the university has drawn students from all across the region and beyond since its founding. Early in its development, the university was split up in 1975, with the Faculty of Agriculture becoming the Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, an autonomous Agricultural University in Mohanpur, Nadia. Following its split, the University of Kalyani maintained its original teaching departments: the Faculty of Science’s Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology; and the Faculty of Arts and Commerce’s Education, Economics, Physical Education, and Sociology departments.

The University added four more departments by the end of the 1970s: Statistics under the Faculty of Science, Bengali, History, Political Science, and Commerce under the Faculty of Arts, which was later renamed the Faculty of Arts and Commerce. Even though the Kalyani University Act of 1981 came into force in the 1980s, the university continued to expand.
